DUBLIN: The amount of cars and vehicles imported into Ireland was up by 46% in November 2015 when compared with the same time the year before. €401m worth of motor vehicles were imported here in November.
However, the Central Statistics Office said that overall, the number of goods imported and exported was down for the month of November.
The value of goods exported fell by 11% to 9.138bn, when compared with the month before, while imports decreased by 24% €5.759bn. The Central Statistics Office said there was a trade surplus of almost €3.379bn in November 2015.
