KARACHI: Directorate General of Pakistan Customs Valuation has re-determined the customs values of instant milk powder with fat, formic acid, methylene chloride and textile lining material through the Valuation Ruling Nos. 626/2013, 627/2013, 629/2013 and 630/2013 under Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969 accordingly.
According to details, Valuation Ruling No.626/2013 of instant milk powder with fat has superseded the VR No.440, issued on March 14, 2012. As per VR No.626/2013, the customs values of instant milk powder with fat in retail packing from all origins having PCT code 1901.9020, 1901.9090, 0402.2900 and proposed PCT code for WeBOC 1901.9020.1000, 1901.9090.1000, 0402.2900.1000 has been fixed at $ 4.25. Customs value of instant milk powder with fat in bulk packing from all origins having same PCT code and proposed PCT code for WeBOC 1901.9020.2000, 1901.9090.2000, 0402.2900.2000 has been fixed at $ 2.00.
VR No.627/2013 of formic acid has superseded the VR No. 469/2012, issued on September 3, 2012. Customs value of formic acid with the specifications of 85 per cent manufactured by BASF from China having PCT code 2915.1100 and proposed PCT for WeBOC 2915.1100.1000 has been fixed at $ 0.90 per kg. Customs value of formic acid with the specifications of 85 per cent manufactured by other than China origin having PCT code 2915.1100 and proposed PCT for WeBOC 2915.1100.1100 has been fixed at $ 0.80 per kg.
Customs value of same acid with specifications of 85 per cent manufactured by all manufacturers from India having PCT code 2915.1100 and proposed PCT for WeBOC 2915.1100.1200 has been fixed at $ 0.785 per kg. Customs value of formic acid with the specifications of 85 per cent manufactured from other origins having PCT code 2915.1100 and proposed PCT for WeBOC 2915.1100.1300 has been fixed at $ 0.90 per kg. Customs value of formic acid with specifications of 88 per cent & above manufactured by all manufacturers from all origins having PCT code 2915.1100 and proposed PCT for WeBOC 2915.1100.1400 has been fixed at $ 0.98 per kg.
VR No. 629/2013 of methylene chloride has superseded the VR No.575/2013, issued on August 29, 2013. Customs value of methylene chloride of UK origin having PCT code 2903.1200 and proposed PCT code for WeBOC 2903.1200.1000 has been fixed at $ 540 per MT. Customs value of the methylene chloride from Japan having PCT code 2903.1200 and proposed PCT for WeBOC is 2903.1200.1100 has been fixed at $ 530 per MT. Customs value of methylene chloride of Russian origin having PCT code 2903.1200 and proposed PCT for WeBOC 2903.1200.1200 has been fixed at $ 500 per MT. Customs value of methylene chloride of all other origins having PCT code 2903.1200 and proposed PCT for WeBOC 2903.1200.1300 has been fixed at $ 550 per MT.
VR No.630/2013 of textile lining material has superseded the VR No.483/2012, issued on October 25, 2012. Customs values of Textile lining material from China having PCT headings 5407.4200, 5407.5200, 5407.6100 and proposed PCT for WeBOC is 5407.4200.1000, 5407.5200.1000, 5407.6100.1000 has been fixed at $ 3.00 per kg.
Furthermore, Directorate of Customs Valuation has determined the customs value of mixture of fatty acids under Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969. According to details, customs value of mixture of fatty acids from Middle East having PCT code 3823.1990 and proposed PCT code for WeBOC 3823.1990.1000 has been fixed at $ 0.20 per kg. Customs value of the same acids from Far East & Sri Lanka having PCT code 3823.1990 and proposed PCT code for WeBOC 3823.1990.1000 has been fixed at $ 0.21 per kg. Customs value of same acids from Australia and New Zealand having PCT code 3823.1990 and proposed PCT code for WeBOC 3823.1990.1000 has been fixed at $ 0.24 per kg.
