AMSTERDAM: Dutch recruitment firm USG People nv (AMS: USG) reported revenue rose 11.9% in the fourth quarter, but gross margin narrowed to 20.7% from 21.3 % in the same period last year.
Revenue in the company’s Dutch business rose 15% in the fourth quarter; Belgian revenue rose 13%.
USG People — a stand-alone, public company at this time — is in the process of being acquired by Tokyo-based Recruit Holdings, one of the world’s largest staffing firms. The Recruit acquisition is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter.
The company operates in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands. Its brands include Start People, Unique, Secretary Plus, USG Professionals and Solvus.
