ISLAMABAD: The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is organising a national conference on e-learning for Pakistan’s law enforcement officials. The conference will be held on November 12 from 1000-1300 hours at Serena Hotel.
This event is being jointly organised by UNODC, the Narcotics Control Division of the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control; and the National Police Bureau Pakistan.
The theme of the conference is to deliver over 100,000 hours of standardised computer-based training to law enforcement personnel through the e-learning platform. This occasion marks the broadening of law enforcement personnel’s foundational knowledge and enhancement of their skills; to combat drugs, crime and terrorism.
The conference will also be attended by the senior representatives, heads/deputies of Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies, and their respective training establishments. In addition, the members of the Government of Pakistan ministries; diplomatic missions; UN agencies; international NGOs; and experts from the academia and the civil societies will be invited to the conference.
