KIEV: In January-April period of 2015, the Ukrainian sea ports processed 10.43 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (including 10.24 mln tonnes of grains), a decrease of 3.7% compared with the same period of 2014, declared the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on May 6.
In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 1.16 mln tonnes of grains at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down 23.6% compared with January-April of 2014), private stevedoring companies at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 4.37 mln tonnes (up 21.3%), and stevedoring companies at their own berths – 4.89 mln tonnes (down 14.3%).
In addition, the Sea Commercial Port of Yuzhny processed 2.83 mln tonnes of grain cargoes, up 2.6% compared with the same period of 2014, according to APK-Inform.
Also, Odessa Sea Commercial Port transshipped 2.4 mln tonnes of grains (up 11.4%), Nikolaev Sea Trade Port – 2.28 mln tonnes (up 8.8%), Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk – 1.66 mln tonnes (up 11.4%), Oktyabrsk Port – 632.6 thsd tonnes (down 25.1%), Kherson Port – 235.55 thsd tonnes (down 46.6%), Berdyansk Port – 211.46 thsd tonnes (down 26.9%), Reni Port – 59.15 thsd tonnes (down 71.7%), and Mariupol Port – 84.54 thsd tonnes (down 56%).
