KIEV: Ukraine’s exports of ferronickel fell 7.3% year on year to 74,900 mt in the first nine months of the year, down from 80,830 mt exported in January-September 2014, the state statistics service reported Monday.
At the same time, revenues from exports of ferronickel increased to $193 million from $188.8 million a year ago, the statistics service said. Over January through September, Ukraine exported 33,360 mt of ferronickel to the Netherlands, up from 23,050 mt a year ago and supplies to China increased to 10,170 mt from zero exported in January-September 2014.
Ukraine also supplied 18,520 mt of ferronickel to Italy, up from 16,650 mt a year ago, exports to the United Kingdom rose to 4,900 mt from 2,860 mt and supplies to the US increased to 4,080 mt from 110 mt in January-September 2014.
