KARACHI: The economic relations between Pakistan and The Netherlands are becoming stronger as the country’s exports to the Netherlands have increased by 24 per cent this year.
These views were expressed by the Dutch Ambassador to Pakistan, Marcel de Vink, at a reception hosted by Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Karachi, Tarek Khan, to celebrate the birthday of King Willem Alexander. Vink said that the economic ties were the only one dimension of interaction between both countries.
The Dutch envoy concluded his address by assuring that his country would continue to support Pakistan in the area of technical and vocational training, which he said was critically important for its bright future as was women empowerment and gender equality where the Netherlands was also playing a part.
