Rs 12 billion earned from sacrificial animal hides

MULTAN: The Pakistan Tanneries Association (PTA) has collected almost Rs 12 billion from 7.3 million sacrificial animal hides during Eid. The PTA collected hides of 2.5 million cows and buffaloes, 4 million goat hides, 0.8 million sheep and 30,000 camel hides during the three days of Eid. Opening: KSE keeps bullish note, gains 86 points

Pakistan Railways to buy 4000-plus horsepower locomotives

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways has decided to purchase new locomotives of 4000-plus horsepower, which will help strengthen freight operation.
