MADRID: There has been a 10% increase in the number of jobs available in Andalusia’s export sector, according to Hays, which notes that the foreign market “has been instrumental for the improvement of the Andalusian economy during the recession years,” stressing that the boost in the export of tropical fruits and berries is the main reason for this growth.
“The exports of tomatoes, strawberries and oil increased by 6% in 2015, compared to 2014, and continue to grow in Almeria. The most prominent position is that of tropical fruit (Malaga) and berries (Huelva),” said Daniel Gaume, manager of Andalucía de Hays.
