SEOUL: The South Korea stock market curved lower again on Monday, one session after it had hardly ended the three-day decreased in which it had dropped almost a 12 points or 0.6 percent. The KOSPI settled just under the 1,890-point plateau, while the market is tipped to rebound on Monday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is upbeat thanks to a rebound in the price of crude oil. Bargain hunting after several soft sessions adds to the positive sentiment. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian markets are also expected to open in the green.
The KOSPI finished sharply lower on Friday as the technology stocks, industrial issues and airlines were mostly lower.
