Karachi: At least three ships berthed at Karachi port including BBC maple IOTTA, MOL Solution and WO Long Song, while another five are expected to reach during next 24 hours.
The ships expected to arrive were Hong Prosperity, MOL Direction, Al Shroog, and APL Sharjah.
The shipping movement indicated that following vessels about to leave for next destinations include Ever Result, Hanjin Indigo, Xin nan Shah and UBC Canada.
The ships expected to reach during next 12 hours include YM West, Hyundai Dolomobo, SC Taipei, Wan Hai 503, Aysan Cape Verde, Hansa Africa, & SPL Humour.
Meanwhile, three ships CV Nysted Maersk, CV Alliance Fal Tax and MT Chem Bulk Jakarata carrying containers allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively at Port Qasim.
Meanwhile, three more ships with containers and palm oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during the last 24 hours.
According to Port Qasim authorities, berth occupancy maintained at the port was 43 percent. Those ships berthed at Port Qasim carrying cargo including chemicals, wheat, urea and furnace oil.
At least five ships carrying container cargo, furnace oil, crude oil and palm are at the outer anchorage of PQA. These vessels identified as Nijran, Maersk Kinston, Akaki, Bright Oil Legend and Almando.
