ISLAMABAD: Senate standing committee on Ports and Shipping will meet at Parliament house on Friday (today).
The meeting will be chaired by Muhammad Ali Khan Saif and attended by other members of the committee.
According to the committee notification, the meeting will brief on the recruitment made in KPT in all cadres during last three years including details of all employees permanent/on contract and daily wages or other mode of appointment with grade wise-breakup.
The meeting will brief on the organizational structure along with the mode of appointment of the members of board of trustees in KPT and the various construction/maintenance contracts awarded by KPT during last two years whether or not any violations were reported by the audit authorities.
Detailed briefing will also be given on the properties/rest houses under the control of KPT.
