RIYADH: Customs officers at Dhiba port foiled an attempt to smuggle 616, 470 amphetamine pills into Saudi Arabia. They became suspicious of a shipment carrying woods and searched it to find the haul of drugs hidden between wooden blocks, reported Arabic daily Sabq. Police arrested the persons in charge of the shipment and referred them to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution.
