ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Saleem Ahmad Ranjha, a Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-21, has relinquished the charge of the post of Director General, Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights (Enforcement), Islamabad.
Ranjha relinquished the charge of the said post pursuing the Establishment Division Islamabad’s Notification No.24/04/2013-E-1 dated 01.01.2018, with effect from January 4. He was posted as Director General, Directorate General of IPR (Enforcement), Islamabad on August 30, 2016.
Muhammad Saleem has been directed to relinquish/assume charge, using online HRMS facility made available to FBR or by using his IJP logins on the same date.
The officer had taken the charge of the post of Member in pursuance of Establishment Division’s Notification No. F.24/4/2013-E.1 dated 05.08.2016 and Banzir Income Support Programme Notification No. 1(706)/BISP/HR/2015 dated 09.08.2016, at Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad on August 9.
He joined Central Superior Services in 1984 and has served in Inland Revenue Service, Pakistan Customs, Ministry of Commerce, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, National Vocational and Technical Training Commission NAVTTC, Civil Services Academy, MD Pakistan Software Export Board and Prime Minister’s Secretariat from 2006 to May 2013 (during tenure of five connective Prime Ministers) initially in NAVTTC and later as Joint Secretary Implementation.
