KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Thursday gained more value against US dollar in interbank and slightly weakened in open market as State Bank Pakistan’s annual report praised the country’s macro-economy and also lauded the strengthened Pakistani currency.
As per local currency market, the US dollar lost 10 paisas in interbank to close at 100.7 and gained 5 paisas in open market to stand at 101.6. On Wednesday, the greenback shed 26 paisas in interbank to reach 100.8 and 20 paisas in open market to close at 101.55.
