ISLAMABAD: The government has launched several development projects, in health, education, communication and tourism sector in district Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan to provide facilities to the locals.
Under the annual development program about Rs200m were being spent on ongoing projects including roads, Bridges, Health and education buildings across the district, reported Radio Pakistan.
Work on widening and metaling of Ghizer road project was also in progress. Under the project main road was being widened and metaled from Ghizer district entrance point Beyarchi village to Damas, district Headquarter. The project will provide better road communication facility to the people and meet their demand.
