LONDON: Redditor TehPoisonOne has released a very long video showing viewers what’s new and what to expect in the newest PS4 Firmware 2.50 update.
The new accessibility functions seem to work really well, with a zoom function, inverted colour mode and the ability to bolden the fonts to make it easier to read. They may not seem like large improvements, but they are indeed welcome additions for those that need such features. Also, being able to change the closed captioning settings is great. One can also completely customize the controller’s buttons from within the settings menu now as well.
Some other great features that will be likely be well received are the ability to have the chat audio be output independent of your headphones, screenshots and resume functionality. The screenshot mechanism also seems to work well enough as well and it does indeed take a screenshot every time a trophy is achieved, the resume function also looks to be coming along quite nicely.
The PS4 Firmware 2.50 update, Yukimura, should be coming to a PS4 near very soon, though there is no actual release date announced yet.
