BERLIN: More than 100,000 Mercedes-Benz S-Class units have been sold since it was launched in mid October last year, which is the biggest sale figure in the history of S-Class series.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the S-Class was already on sale in the three core markets within under three months since market launch and went on sale at home first, being available in Germany since the end of July last year.
China got the new S-Class at the end of September 2013, and then United States dealerships started selling the S-Class around mid-October that same year as both the countries are the biggest markets for the new S-Class.
There have been 75,391 S-Class units sold since the start of 2014. That marks a 105.8 percent increase over the same period last year.
