WARSAW: Polish exports increased by 11.1 percent year-on-year and totaled €14.98 billion in March, according to the Export Credit Insurance Corporation (KUKE). It has increased export growth forecasts for this year to 13.4 percent.
Exports grew by 9.2 percent on a monthly basis, KUKE also reported in a press release. The value of exports denominated in Polish currency amounted to PLN 62.48 billion in March, an increase of 9 percent m/m and growth of 10.5 percent y/y.
KUKE expects that exports denominated in the euro currency in the period between March and May 2015 will increase by 12 percent, while exports denominated in the Polish currency will increase by 9.3 percent.
