WARSAW: A working hour in Poland outside of agriculture and administration in 2014 was worth as much as €8.40, according to Dziennik Gazeta Prawna citing Eurostat estimates. The amount is three times lower than average costs in the EU, the daily pointed out.
Labor costs are lower in Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Bulgaria. In the last ten years, labor costs rose in Poland by 75 percent, in the EU – by 24 percent. If the pace remains the same, Poland will reach EU level in 2046, the daily informed.
