MANILA: The Bureau of Customs will likely miss its 2014 collections goal even as revenue in the 11 months to November grew at double-digit pace on the back of “major headway made in reducing smuggling, quoting Customs Commissioner John Phillip Sevilla.
The Bureau of Customs has a collection target of 408 billion pesos ($9.15 billion) this year.
