MANILA: Philippine Airlines said Monday select online and mobile services would be unavailable on March 23 to 24 to give way to a systems upgrade.
The flag carrier said it would continue to operate scheduled flights but purchase of new flights, tour bookings, rebooking, rerouting and refunds will be temporarily unavailable during the said period.
On March 22 to March 25, online check-in through PAL’s website, mobile app and kiosks will not be accessible, as well as the purchase of additional baggage allowance and seat selection, it said.
Passengers with travel plans on the weekend of March 23 are advised to purchase tickets in advance, PAL said.
The airline also advised travelers with flights from March 21 to March 25 to arrive early for check-in, purchase add-ons in advance, make special requests, such as meals, bassinets and stretchers not later than March 22, and to bring a printed or digital copy of their tickets.
