PESHAWAR: The Customs Dry Port Peshawar earned Rs141million more revenue in the month of March than the collection of the same month of yesteryear.
The Customs Dry Port Peshawar has generated Rs486.2million revenue in the month of March of current Financial Year against Rs345million collected in March of previous FY 2016-17.
The Dry Port received Rs206million under the head of Customs Duties and an amount of Rs169.91million was done through Sales Tax collected in March of current FY.
The Dry Port Peshawar showed Rs58.35million collection of Reduction Duties and an amount of Rs30.40million was generated as Sales Tax on VM palm oil. In the same way, the Dry Port Peshawar got Rs79million under the head of AIT in March of current FY.
The Deputy Collector Customs Dry Port Peshawar expressed satisfaction over the collection of March of current FY and said that more efforts will be made to increase the revenue collection.
