KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guard (PCG) conducted a successful operation and recovered huge quantity of illegal liquor and charas. The estimated value of the seized narcotics is Rs 2 million.
Sources told Customs Today that after receiving credible information that a Mazda truck loaded with illegal narcotics is coming from Baluchistan to Karachi. Pursuing the information, the PCG has established a check point near Ormara and intercepted a Mazda truck. During checking the truck, the PCG team recovered 215 bottles of liquor and 10 kilograms of high quality charas.
The authorities have seized the narcotics and arrested the driver. Further investigations are under way.
