KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee gained 68 paisa against the US dollar in the interbank market to trade at Rs 166.50, according to media on Friday.
The greenback has lost its value by Rs1.26 in two days lowering the debt burden on Pakistan by Rs30 billion.
The exchange rate of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar had witnessed an increase of 58 paisa in interbank on Thursday (yesterday) and traded at Rs167.18.
