KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Thursday made huge recovery against dollar both in open market and interbank.
As per the local money market, the dollar lost 55 paisas in open market for buying at 111.90 and for selling at 112.20, while it shed 10 paisas in interbank for buying at 110.30 and for selling at 110.50.
On Wednesday, the domestic unit remained firm in the interbank market against dollar on insignificant demand for greenback. The dollar closed unchanged in value on previous day’s level at Rs 110.40 for buying and Rs 104.60 for selling. In open market, the greenback closed at Rs 112.45 for buying and Rs 112.75 for selling in the open market. It gained 15 paisas against the rupee.
