KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee depreciated on Monday against the US currency both in open market and interbank.
As per the local money market, the US currency added 10 paisas in open market for buying at Rs139 and for selling at Rs139.50, while it also gained 10 paisas in interbank for buying at Rs138.60 and for selling at Rs139.10.
On Friday, the dollar gained five paisas for buying at Rs138.90 and for selling at Rs139.40 in open market. In interbank, the greenback closed firm for buying at Rs138.50 and for selling at Rs139.
