Karachi: The Pakistani currency on Monday depreciated against the US dollar in open market and remained firm in interbank.
As per the local money market, the dollar lost 10 paisas for buying at Rs125 and added 20 paisas for selling at Rs125.50 in open market. The dollar remained unchanged for buying at Rs 124.10 and for selling at Rs124.30 with no change against the rupee.
On Friday, the dollar closed at Rs 124.10 for buying and Rs 124.30 for selling with no change against the rupee. In open market, the dollar remained dull in value in the open market following flat demand from corporate and private sector in interbank. The dollar closed at Rs 125.10 for buying and Rs 125.30 for selling in the open market against rupee. It shed 10 paisas.
