Nepal inks another important bilateral cooperation deal, this time with Georgia. The Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a MoU on trade expansion and investment promotion.
Nepal Chamber of Commerce President Rajesh Kazi Shrestha and Georgian Chamber of Commerce President and Industry signed the bilateral agreement on July 22, 2019 in the presence of Georgian Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister Alexander Khvtisiashvili.
The agreement covers expansion of bilateral trade between Nepal and India, based on existing laws and rules and to seek new investment opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Nepal Chamber of Commerce Chairman Shrestha stressed on investment in agriculture, health, hydropower and sports for the developing tourism and trade.
He urged Georgian industrialists to invest in Nepal stating that are the necessary laws are in place.
