MULTAN: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Camp Office generated Rs40.3 million through auction of non-duty paid miscellaneous goods and vehicles.
According to details, Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation conducted auction of seized miscellaneous goods and vehicles which were seized in various anti-smuggling operations. The auction of confiscated vehicles and various articles were carried out in the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Office near Khanewal Road, Raja Pur Multan. Huge number of participants in the auction for bidding process. Customs Intelligence successfully auctioned 17 various non-duty paid vehicles in almost Rs.33.87 million during auction.
Multan Customs offered impounded vehicles in the auction including Hino Ranger, Toyota Brevis, Toyota Probox, Toyota Hilux Surf, Honda Civic, Toyota Premio, Toyota Fielder, Toyota Passo, Toyota Vitz, Toyota Aqua Hybrid, Toyota Surf, Toyota Corolla, Suzuki Alto, Daihatsu Mira and others. These confiscated vehicles were non-tampered and non-duty paid. Customs Intelligence offered these confiscated vehicles for auction after completion of legal procedure and trial from Customs Adjudication.
Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation has also offered auction of six various lots of Irani Skimmed Milk, cumin seed, Tamarind, silk bed sheets, tyres, Polyester fabric in rolls rims of different colours in Rs6.43 million.
Additional Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Saeed Ahmad Watto has supervised the whole auction process of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods along with other staff.
