MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Preventive generated Rs38.193 million through auction of the confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods lying at the State warehouse.
According to details, Customs Preventive conducted auction of confiscated vehicles and goods for the month of March. The monthly auction was held at Multan Dry Port Sher Shah road. Multan Customs Preventive presented t eight various foreign origin confiscated vehicles including Toyota Premio, Toyota Vitz , Toyota Corolla X and Honda Accord were successfully sold out in Rs5.2 million. Remaining four vehicles including Toyota Crown, Toyota Passo and others were rejected due to fewer prices offered in the auction.
Multan Customs Preventive presented 41 lots of goods including foreign origin glassware crockery, diesel engine accessories, tyres, dried plums, printed rolls of aluminium foil, almonds shells, Samsung LEDs, Kerosene oil, dental surgical tools, PVC coated fabrics roll, ten various lots of 195,000 litres POL Products and High Speed Diesel, different engines, spare parts, LED lamps ,computer parts ,mobile accessories, wrist watch, Chocolates ,machine made carpets and other miscellaneous goods.
Multan Customs sold out 11 lots including crockery sets, tyres, auto parts and kerosene oil of 35350 litres and others in almost Rs32.993 million during auction.
Assistant Collector Umer Sajjad supervised the auction of confiscated goods and vehicles at Multan Dry Port along with other staff to ensure transparency.
