MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement Faisalabad directed exporters to submit their updated bank details for the online payment of customs duty drawback.
In compliance of the directives of Federal Board of Revenue Customs Collectorate Appraisement Faisalabad found during scrutiny of customs that duty drawback claims that several exporters have not provided their bank name, bank account number and branch number.
Assistant Collector Multan Dry Port Beenish Rasheed has directed exporters to submit their bank account number and relevant information.
It is also pertinent to mention here that Federal Board of Revenue has devised a centralized system of online payment of customs duty drawback directly in the bank account of the exporters.
The Federal Board of Revenue has directed the Collectorate to process their pending customs duty drawbacks on priority basis. Customs Collectorate Appraisement required exporter’s cooperation to update their WeBOC profile and provide IBAN of the same Bank Account whose details are already available in WEBOC profile of the exporters to receive customs duty drawback.
Several exporters’ addresses are also not available in their profile due to shifting of offices.
