MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has finalized almost 68 various seizure cases involving Rs241.696 million during the month of January 2020-21.
The Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has disposed 68 different cases framed by Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation during their various actions. Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has issued Order-in-Original (ONO) in 68 various seizure cases after completion of legal proceedings on the basis of presented facts.
Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Multan Abdul Mueed Kanjoo settled almost 30 various seizure cases of worth Rs19 million throughout January after concluding legal proceedings. Deputy collector Abdul Mueed Kanjoo settled all seizure cases in the favour of Customs department after assessing facts. Almost 27 fresh seizure cases of Rs.16.880 million have been added in the month of January in the Customs Adjudication.
Additional Collector Adjudication Sumaira Omer decided 18 various seizure cases of worth Rs.31.194 million throughout the month of January 2020-21.Additional Collector has settled all said seizure cases in the favor of Customs after observing facts during trial in January. Near about 12 new seizure cases of Rs.20.240 million were added for trial in the court of Additional Collector Adjudication during January.
Collector Adjudication Asif Buzdar settled almost 20 different seizure cases of worth Rs.191.455 million for the duration of January. All these seizure cases were decided in the favor of Customs department. These decided seizures were against violation of rule, smuggling, misuse of DTRE export facility cases and others. As many as 19 different seizure cases of worth Rs.199.512 million was added during said month for legal trial.
