MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office finalized 62 seizure cases involving Rs117.099 million during the month of February 2019-20.
According to details, Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office disposed 62 cases formed by Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation during their actions. Customs Adjudication has issued Order-in-Original (ONO) in 62 cases after completion of legal proceedings.
Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Abdul Mueed Kanjoo settled 38 different seizure cases of worth Rs27.911 million throughout February after legal proceedings.
Deputy collector finalized all seizure cases in favor of customs department on the basis of presented facts for the duration of February. Almost 29 fresh seizure cases of Rs20.576 million have been added in the month of February in the Customs Adjudication.
Additional Collector Adjudication Summera Omer decided 18 seizure cases of worth Rs36 million throughout the month of February 2019-20.Additional Collector has done all seizure cases in the favor of Customs after observing facts during trial. About 13 new seizure cases of Rs24.850 million were added for trial in the court of Additional Collector Adjudication during February.
Collector Adjudication Dr. Akhtar Hussain settled six seizure cases of worth Rs53.188 million for the duration of February. All these seizure cases were decided in the favor of Customs department. These decided seizures were against violation of rule, misuse of DTRE export facility cases and others. As many as 12 different seizure cases of worth Rs75.817 million was added during month of February for trial.
