ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue Member Inland Revenue Shahid Hussain Asad reached Karachi to attend a pre-budget seminar, being organising by the Institute of Charted Accountants of Pakistan.
The two-day long seminar will start from today (April 28) and end on April 29. As per detail, members from The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry and from other trading groups will attend the meeting to share their suggestions and recommendations for the upcoming budget 2015-16.
Sources informed that Member Inland Revenue Shahid Hussain Asad would also held meeting with business community to discuss the matters pertaining to taxation.
They added that Asad would also meet the officials to discuss the status of revenue recovery and would urge them to expedite the performance to meet the set target for current fiscal year 2014-15.
