WARSAW: Melaleuca opened for business in Poland on April 1. Company executives are calling the event another milestone toward Melaleuca’s goal of “enhancing the lives of families around the globe.”
“We are eager to share our superior, natural health products with the citizens of Poland,” European General Manager Pieter Kiepe said. “Opening Poland enables us to expand our Melaleuca family, offer wellness products to more customers and provide a vehicle for people to achieve their financial goals.”
The steady demand for Melaleuca products in European countries has created opportunities for continued expansion throughout Europe, officials said in a news release. Poland has one of the largest populations in Eastern Europe, a robust economy and a healthier consumer climate.
With this announcement, Melaleuca now operates in 19 countries worldwide, with six located in Europe. While the majority of Melaleuca’s business continues be be from its U.S. and Canadian operations, sales from international countries accounted for 45 percent of its 2014 revenues.
