PUTRAJAYA: An additional 1,315 medicines have been included in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) zero-rated supplies list.
Customs GST Division senior assistant director ll Norazura Hashim said that the initial list only had 2,900 medicines and that the list now had a total of 4,215 medicines.
The full list of tax-exempt medicines is available on the Customs website.
“The additional zero-rated medicines was recently approved following concerns raised by relevant authorities,” she said.
She was speaking to reporters during a special briefing sessions relating to health and GST at Putrajaya here the other day.
