LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange has witnessed bearish trend by losing 0.88 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 4681.26 points and closed at 4680.38 points.
The market’s overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.850 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.100 million shares, showing an upward move of 750,100 shares. While, out of the total active 96 scrips 34 moved up, 9 shed values and 53 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Mari Petroleum Company, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Treet Corporation Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs7.97, Rs5.16 and Rs4.52 respectively.
Adamjee Insurance Company, DG Khan Cement Company and Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) lost their per share value by Rs1.74, Rs1.25 and Re0.94 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited with 403,000 shares, Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 326,000 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 272,500 shares.
