LAHORE: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has issued a notice to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to pay the liable property tax of Rs 347.55 million.
As per details available with Customs Today, the Pakistan Cricket Board is a defaulter of property tax and not paying the tax for a long duration even after the several recovery notices issued by the Excise and Taxation Lahore.
The Excise has warned PCB that Qaddafi Stadium and all other offices of the PCB would be sealed, if the PCB fails to pay Rs 347.55 million property tax until the set deadline.
Qaddafi Stadium is an internationally reputed cricket stadium which is not being used since March 3, 2007 after terrorist attack on Sri Lankan Cricket team.
