KUWAIT CITY: A Bangladeshi man working as a cook in the house of a Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in possession of a quarter kg of heroin, 50 grams of shabu, and 650 narcotic pills.
Apparently, the Office of the Interior Minister was notified about the activities of a person working as a cook who also peddled in drugs. Acting on information, Interior Ministry’s assistant undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Major General Abdulhamid Al-Awadhi confirmed the validity of information and obtained warrant for his arrest.
He was referred with the contraband to concerned authorities for necessary action, and the informant was rewarded by Interior Ministry. Meanwhile, two youths were arrested at a security checkpoint in Jahra after securitymen found on them crystal meth and drug consuming tools. They were referred with the items for further investigations.
