KARACHI: Bullish sentiment again prevailed in Karachi bourse on Wednesday as the benchmark 100-index up by 1.08 per cent, gaining 355.81 points to reach 33391.58 level till midday.
The KSE witnessed the highest trading of 33401.19 points and lowest trading of 33035.77 points as the total volume remained 80,365,620 shares, having Rs5,134,663,526 value.
The top three traded companies were Byco Petroleum with a volume of 15,072,500 and price per share of 12.27 (0.77), Pak Elektron with a volume 11,908,500 of price per share of 63.26 (2.54), K-Electric Ltd with a volume 8,258,500 of price per share of 7.71 0.19).
Earlier, the Karachi Stock Exchange, in bid to recoup the previous day’s losses, gained 83.85 points to take the mark to 33119.62 points as total volume remained 15,019,450 shares.
