ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Water and Power, Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Friday said that different power projects launched in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa would generate 6000 megawatt electricity.
“The required amount was available to complete work on power projects for producing energy to fulfill the demand of the consumers,” he stated this while talking to a private news channel.
“We have discussed with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for provision of amount to provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa for completing power projects,” he said.
“We are ready to work with provincial government to execute the projects,” he said.
To a question regarding Naltar, the Defence Minister expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in this tragic incident.
