PESHAWAR: The government will construct ten micro hydel power plants in the province, besides a technical laboratory, said Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Finance Minister, Muzafar Said Advocate in his budget speech here Monday.
Minister Muzafar said that 39 projects for energy sectors in the budget have been proposed to overcome the shortage of energy and also eliminate the load-shedding in the country.
The energy projects including 188 megawatts Naran Dam at Mansehra, power stations at Ghorband at Shangla, Nandihar at Battagram, Majigram Shagur, Astar and Boni with capacity of 206MW at Chitral would help provide cheap electricity to the consumers
