KARACHI: Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has sent budget proposals on behalf of all chambers of the country to Federal Finance Ministry, Commerce Ministry and Federal Board of Revenue.
This was informed by President KCCI Aamir Abdullah Zaki while talking to Customs Today at his office. President KCCI said that collective suggestions regarding reduced Customs tariff and Sales Tax have been inducted in budget proposals. “Sales Tax should be fixed at 10 percent in order to boost trade activities”, Zaki added. He further informed that a meeting of KCCI members with the Federal Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar is likely to be held in Karachi in the coming week.
