NEW DEHLI: Indian rupee strengthened till midday on Friday versus US dollar. Indian currency rose 51 paisa or 0.80 percent against dollar to trade at 63.11. Rupee has observed a high of 63.11 and a low of 63.38. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.89.
The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, fell 3.10 percent to trade at 5.
