KARACHI: Indian High Commissioner Dr TCA Raghavan has said that in order to facilitate the business communities of both the neighbouring countries, Delhi and Islamabad should talk about opening up more trade routes including Khokhrapar-Monabao border.
He said this during a visit to Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). KCCI President Abdullah Zaki, Businessmen Group Chairman & former KCCI President Siraj Kassam Teli and other member of the KCCI were also present on the occasion.
Dr Raghavan said that both the countries should create a peaceful neighbourhood environment to overcome the challenges being faced by Pakistan and India.”
“In order to improve interaction between the Commercial Section of Indian High Commission in Islamabad and KCCI, the possibility of providing video conferencing facility can certainly be worked out,” The Indian High Commissioner said. He further said that Indian High Commission’s visa section could be linked with Karachi Chamber via video conferencing which would help improve interaction between the officers of commercial section and KCCI representatives.
