It’s shocking for any nationalist that Indian nationals are illegally holding and operating one of the strategic assets of Pakistan in the shape of Qasim International Container Terminal. Every Pakistani citizen is worried from Indians due to their suspicious activities in Balochistan, FATA and other parts of country to destabilize law and order situation. He said that Indians are supporting terrorism in Pakistan to achieve their nefarious agenda and they are projecting negative image of Pakistan all across the world to isolate us.
Relations between Pakistan and India are not in perfect situation due to Kashmir dispute and other issues. Indian security agencies are openly interfering and supporting terrorists in different parts of country and it is our responsibility to keep a close eye on Indians entering in Pakistan to avoid any unwanted situation. He said that Indians are sponsoring terrorists in Pakistan to create unrest in the country because they don’t want peace in the region.
Presence of Indians in different shipping companies is also raising national security concerns due to their suspicious activities as they are continuously creating obstacles in the smooth clearance process.
He expressed that M/s DP World Group’s 75% share holders belong to India and they are all appointed on top positions and they are working in Qasim International Container Terminal without clearance of Interior Ministry. These illegally-appointed Indians are also involved in defaming national image and spoiling investors by charging them illegal demurrage and detention charges on clearance of shipments.
Importers are upset with the behavior of different shipping companies for charging illegal exorbitant demurrage and detention charges. Those who refuse to pay them illegal charges, they face unnecessary delay in the clearance of import shipments which causes them financial loss. He alleged that shipping companies are robbing huge revenue and blackmailing importers through different tactics for clearance of shipments.
He demanded from Ministry of Interior and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa to take serious notice on illegal presence of Indians at national strategic asset Qasim International Container Terminal to avoid any unwanted situation in future. Government should conduct verification process of Indians illegally working on QICT to end irregularities and protect national economy.
