ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has held Quran Khawani at the occasion of first death anniversary of Munawar Mughal, former ICCI president and FPCCI vice president.
A large number of local business community, including former FBR chairman Abdullah Yousaf, CDA Environment Member Syed Mustazfain Kazmi, Akhbar Farosh Union General Secretary Tikka Khan and many other important personalities were also joined the Qurann Khawani.
Speaking at the occasion, Founder Group Chairman and Presidential candidate for FPCCI Abdul Rauf thanked the participants for attending the event. He said presence of large number of traders and industrialists proved that Munwar Mughal was a popular leader among the business community.
He said Munawar had dedicated his whole life for serving the cause of business community. He vowed that his good mission would be continued so that issues of trade and industry could be resolved effectively.
ICCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh in his message said that Munawar Mughal had played an important role in the development of the chamber and the best way of promoting his mission was to serve the cause of business community with sincerity and commitment.
