KARACHI: An anti-narcotics court has directed the customs authorities to submit an interim charge-sheet within two weeks in a case pertaining to the recovery of over one kilogram of heroin from a PIA aircraft.
According to the prosecution, Pakistan Customs officials had searched the Dubai-bound Flight No. 761 of the Pakistan International Airlines and recovered over 1kg heroin, which was kept in the plane’s toilet. During the raid, no suspect was arrested.
The worth of the heroin recovered from the plane is Rs 10 million in the international market. Following the recovery, an FIR was registered against unidentified suspects.
