KARACHI: Advisor to Prime Minister on Revenue Haroon Akhtar Khan and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Muhammad Khan held four hour long session with the panel of businessmen to discuss budget related issues.
During the session both Haroon Akhtar Khan and Nisar Muhammad Khan rejected rumours of imposing worth Rs 400 billion new taxes in the upcoming budget 2016-2017.
The panel of businessmen appreciated the performance of the government for supporting the business community and shared various proposals as well as recommendations with regards to the upcoming budget 2016-2017.
Both officials assured the panel of businessmen for all kind of support to facilitate them. The Advisor to PM said that governments will bring friendly budget for the masses whereas trade and business are given top priority.
